Deleting a team from a live project

Hi,

Sorry if this has been explained somewhere else but I did try and search for it.

One of my teams has folded mid-season and the league committee want the team removed with immediate effect. So, my question is, what happens if I remove a team from a project? Will all fixtures and results that team has played in be removed, meaning that teams who beat them and got 3 points now lose those points? Or, will the results remain and the removed team will simply no longer be available for future fixtures for that project?

To delete a team you need to delete all match days related to that team. This means that all matches played by this team must be wiped, which again leads to loss of points to the teams that have already played the affected team. If you want to keep those scores, which you shouldn't, as this will be unfair to those who can't play the affected team, you have to enter those in the backend as starting points.
